The Delta in the Equation
Every choice rewrites the Universe
Don’t you see, all you ever are is a moment. That is all any of us are. A single fluctuation in an almost infinite algorithm.
Each choice we make changes the algorithm – instantly and forever. The past becomes such that we could not have but made that choice, the future, all that results from it.
Like the plant that emerges from a seed or the baby gazelle that is born knowing how to run, those are just the results of chemical programs developed by millions of years of evolutionary pressure. They build and preserve that monkey suit in which you walk around, but they don’t control that glorious ineffable consciousness that is the you in you.
You are a moment of starlight. A twinkle from some galaxy far away. You are the cusp between light and dark – shadow and sun – necessity and the void. You are the delta in the equation, the only way a variable can change: time itself.
You do not experience the present moment – you are your own present moment!
Now, do something amazing with that knowledge, and teach the universe that you are awakened to its trickery.
